British Berkefeld Ultra Sterasyl® (previously ATC Super Sterasyl®) is Doulton’s best selling ceramic water filter candle for gravity water filter systems. The combination of a microfilter ceramic outer, granular activated carbon and heavy metal removal media effectively reduces a range of different contaminants including sediments, microplastics, e-coli bacteria, trace organics, enhanced organics, pharmaceuticals, pesticides, pfas, herbicides, free chlorine, monochloramine and heavy metals such as lead.
Made from durable, food-grade materials and NSF certified, it represents the premium quality and reliability you expect from the Doulton brand.The Ultra Sterasyl Filter, stands 146mm high (5 3/4 inch) and has been specially manufactured by Doulton for Southern Cross Pottery distribution. Unlike the current Ultra Sterasyl candle marketed in Australia, which is 178mm tall and too large for most gravity systems, this filter is designed to fit perfectly. It is compatible with all purifiers made by Southern Cross Pottery and most other brands of gravity filtration systems including Earthtank, Village Pottery Company, Sean Nicholson Clay, Durand, Waterco, Australis, Stefani, Pozzani, Peter Wallace Pottery, and Filteroo.
